This group is designed to work with individuals with a DSM diagnosis that is caused/exacerbated by a family member's mental illness, substance use, or abusive tendencies. Those participating will receive education on: -Co-dependency -The effects of trauma -The effects of mental health/substance abuse on the family and individual Members will learn ways to -Cope -Focus on setting appropriate boundaries -Building self esteem -Assertiveness skills Although there is an education piece to the group, we will also focus on processing and problem solving current needs.
