GR Sport and Social Club is proud to introduce Adult Coed Broomball league

Not sure what broomball is? Well it's a really simple but fun game!

It's like hockey with sticks that are shaped like brooms and a ball that is slightly smaller than a volleyball. We will be playing at Walker Ice Arena but don't worry skates are not needed because this game is played in your tennis shoes!

Object of the game is to score as many goals in the alloted time as possible.

No special broomball shoes allowed.  Wear your street shoes. You must bring and wear your own helmet.  Anything from bicycle to football.  Surprise us! Bring your own equipment if you want, otherwise we will provide sticks to use. Game time is targeted  for 7-8pm, but if we get an increase of people to register, we will also sechdule 6-7pm games too.  So be sure you can make either time slots. Knee and shin pads are highly suggested.  Gloves are also good too. It's 5v5, but you need at least 7 players to make a team.  At least 2 females must be on the ice at all times. We play with no goalie
