DESCRIPTION: HopCat will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its opening with a party on Friday featuring special limited releases of its coveted Oil Rigger Imperial Stout\, free Crack Fries and a Crack Fries-eating contest. Since opening\, HopCat has been named No. 3 bar on Planet Earth by Beer Advocate magazine\, No. 2 bar in America by CraftBeer.com and a top beer bar in America by RateBeer.com. Grand Rapids Magazine readers consistently vote HopCat as Grand Rapids' best bar with its brewery receiving honorable mention in the best brewery category.   Each year\, HopCat brews a coveted limited-edition Imperial Stout\, Oil Rigger\, sold on draft and in bottles to mark its birthday.
