DESCRIPTION:Check out the GR Artisan Food Underground ... Come together with other food artisans to swap goods to fill our own pantries!The Springtime swap will be hosted at Uptown Kitchen - an incubator kitchen and event space in Eastown just launched by Kelly LeCoy\, recent Calvin grad and food entrepreneur. We'll have a chance to check out the commercial kitchen available for rent\, hear about Kelly's endeavor\, and enjoy the gorgeous space.You know how it works:Do you make preserves\, vinegars\, ciders\, pickles or handmade herbal remedies? What about breads\, kombucha\, teas\, or fermented beverages? Sauerkrauts? Infused booze? Do you even have your own eggs from your chickens? Cheese? Pies?Whatever your kitchen specialty\, participants should plan several of each sort of their treasured goods to swap.
