DESCRIPTION:June 14\, 2011 Press Release:BODIES REVEALED Exhibition Held Over for Final Seven WeeksAt Grand Rapids Public MuseumGrand Rapids\, MI (June 14\, 2011) - Due to overwhelming public response\, the Grand Rapids Public Museum announces that the BODIES REVEALED Exhibition has been held over for a final seven weeks\, ending August 6\, 2011.  The Exhibition gives visitors a chance to learn about the human body in a way that makes anatomy\, biology\, science and health personal.  "The community has embraced this educational opportunity\, and the Museum has welcomed more than 150\,000 visitors to BODIES REVEALED since November 20\, including over 30\,000 students\," says Rebecca Westphal\, Director of Communications and Customer Service at the Museum.  "We want to provide even more viewing opportunities for local residents as well as seasonal travelers by extending the Exhibition through much of the summer." To ensure a quality experience for all guests within the Exhibition\, a limited number of admission tickets are available for each hour the Museum is open.  Non-member visitors who wish to tour the Exhibition during prime hours are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance by phone or online.   Museum members may tour at any time.In addition to Tuesday evenings\, the Museum will stay open until 9 pm July 13-15 and August 3-5.  Tuesday Twilight Tickets are available for $12 rather than $15\, for the 4\, 5\, 6 and 7 pm entry time slots each week.Seen by millions worldwide\, BODIES REVEALED is presented by Premier Exhibitions\, Inc. and features real\, whole and partial body specimens that have been meticulously dissected and preserved.
