SUMMARY:Jean-Paul Sartre's DEAD END (Huis Clos)
DESCRIPTION:A modern translation of the John Paul Sartre classic\, Huis Clos\, by local playwright and actor\, Joel L. Schindlbeck.Huis  Clos translates to &lsquo\;in camera&rsquo\;\, referring to a private discussion  behind closed doors\, but the play has most famously been translated as  No Exit.  It has also been performed under the title\, No Way Out\, In  Camera\, and Dead End.Dead End features three recently deceased people locked in a hotel room.  Each seems...  to be well aware they are in hell\, and expect the usual torturers to  appear with red-hot pokers\, hot irons\, whips\, and scourges.  A valet  leads each person to the room\, where they soon realize that they are to  be one another&rsquo\;s torturer\, but not in the classic sense.  Cast includes: Scott Lange as Garcin\, Katherine Mayberry as Estelle\, Sarah Stark as Inez and Joel L.
