International Folk Dancing lets us all tour the world while still going home to sleep in our own beds.  We make a point of doing dances from Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas- and will happily add dances from still more places if anyone shows up with the music and is prepared to teach.  International Folk Dancers are the friendliest people on Earth.  Beginners are warmly welcomed and carefully taught- after all, we were all beginners once.  Intermediate and advanced dancers are warmly welcomed, also, and invited to teach if they wish.  We average about twenty dances per evening, alternating between easy dances, dances with somewhat more complicated patterns, and one or two really tough ones for the most advanced folks.  You don't need to bring a partner.  Just bring comfortable dancing shoes ad an adventurous attitude (and if you want to bring treats for the refreshments table, that's fine too).
