West Michigan Environmental Action Council presents Urban Roots on Tuesday, February 5, 6-9 p.m. at the Grand Rapids Public Museum.  This event is open to the public.

Urban Roots follows the recent urban farming phenomenon in Detroit. This film focuses on the post-industry collapse in the city with an inspirational look at the progress being made to build a sustainable future for Detroit. Watch these ground-up innovations and inspirations spark from Detroit's urban farming community.

A panel discussion will take place following the film.
