The NYE party and ball drop will return to downtown Grand Rapids Monday, December 31, 2012.

Jesse McCartney will headline the Hot New Year's Eve Party 2013, along with Sylvia Yacoub from The Voice, Baby Bash and Grand Rapids' own, The Outer Vibe.

Jesse McCartney  is an American singer-songwriter, actor, and voice actor. McCartney achieved fame in the late 1990s on the daytime drama All My Children as JR Chandler. He later joinedthe boy band, Dream Street and eventually branched out into a solo musical career. McCartney released his first solo EP in July 2003. The album featured three songs: "Beautiful Soul," "Don't You", and "Why Don't You Kiss her". In the fall of 2007, McCartney co-wrote the hit song "Bleeding Love" performed by Leona Lewis.  His hit single, "Leavin" was released in March 2008, and reached number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving McCartney his highest-charting single to date.

BABY BASH

Baby Bash is a Mexican-American rapper. His first album was On Tha Cool; followed by Tha Smokin Nephew which included the singles "Suga Suga" and "Shorty Doowop."  In 2005, Super Saucy was released, its lead single being "Baby I'm Back". Cyclonefollowed in 2007, with its title single featuring T-Pain. He has collaborated with numerous other artists during his career, such as West Coast rappers B-Legit, Coolio, and Mac Dre, R&B singers like Akon, Avant, Natalie, Mario, and Nate Dogg

SYLVIA YACOUB

Sylvia Yacoub became a household name on the most recent season on The Voice! This Egyptian native first came to the U.S. at age 5 and she is from Muskegon. Sylvia credits her mother for teaching her how to sing! Sylvia found the perfect coach in Christina Aguilera as she counts the songstress among her biggest influences. She made it to the TOP 10 on The Voice!
