West Michigan Environmental Action Council and Greater Grand Rapids Bicycling Coalition present the Urban Cycling Extravaganza on Saturday, October 13 in East Grand Rapids to promote the role of bicycling in building sustainble communities.

The family-friendly event begins with a five-mile community bike ride to be followed by an exposition with food, drinks, beginner and advanced bicycling workshops, children activities and film screenings.  The Urban Cycling Extravaganza is an engaging way to introduce new riders to the fun and value of commuter and recreational cycling.  We're also hoping to highlight our region's emerging bike culture and the bike-friendly community of East Grand Rapids.
