You DO NOT have to be breastfeeding to attend this family friendly event - just be someone who supports and values breastfeeding and the moms who do it! :)

Last year The BIG LATCH ON made Grand Rapids history with 62 mothers in attendance and 57 latched on in unison at 10:30AM local time. This year, Free2FeedGR wants to break that record and extend the BIG LATCH ON from a one minute event into a daytime celebration with a variety of vendors, artists, entertainment and interactive activity for the whole community to enjoy. 

The BIG LATCH ON portion of this event will take place at exactly 10:30AM - 10:31AM - if you would like to participate (or volunteer) for this portion of the event, please arrive at 10AM.

This will be a great way for individual services and businesses to connect with this demographic and show their support for normalizing breastfeeding within our community and the best way we can think of to celebrate as Free2FeedGR forges a path for Grand Rapids to become the first Official Free2Feed City in the world!

This event will be held in East Hills from 10AM - 3PM. 

We are looking for sponsors, vendors, entertainment (henna, face paint, activities, etc) and LOTS of volunteers (we will need many people at 1030AM to help us count the moms - 1 volunteer per 10/moms - so we really need an overflow of non-nursing volunteers to help with this).
