Rock The Rapids Grand Rapids' Original Music Festival announced today that R&B icons Boyz II Men and Bell Biv DeVoe will perform on Friday, August 24, 2012 at the six-day music festival.

Rock the Rapids, a weeklong, non-profit festival in the streets of downtown Grand Rapids, will run from Aug. 20 through Aug. 25. The lineup for West Michigan's largest music festival features:

Monday, Aug. 20 _      Miranda Lambert

Tuesday, Aug. 21 _      UPROAR Festival featuring Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach and Adelitas Way

Wednesday, Aug. 22 _ Toby Keith

Thursday, Aug. 23 _ Carnival of Madness featuring Evanescence, Chevelle, Cavo and New Medicine

Friday, Aug. 24 _ Boyz II Men and Bell Biv DeVoe

Saturday, Aug. 25 _ Big Boi and B.o.B

Boyz II Men remains one of the most truly iconic R&B groups in music history. The trio holds the distinction of being the best-selling R&B group of all time with an astounding 60 million albums worldwide including three number one albums and eight Top 10 albums.

An offshoot of the hugely popular 80's vocal group New Edition, Bell Biv DeVoe fused hip-hop beats, b-boy attitude and R&B harmonies.
