Out Of The Box-Literally!

One ministry family's story-watching God at work in the daily details. How does home education and public school ministry all tie together for good? Our adventures in serving the Lord as a family start at home

Family Traditions For A Lifetime

Making memories that make us a family. Using the calendar throughout the year to teach truth, shape our children's lives and to impact the people God brings into our homes. These are the things our children treasure as we look back over our family story.

Valerie McDaniel home educated all three of her children from birth; now 28, 25, and 22 years-one is a music teacher, the other a dance instructor and the youngest, a college student. Valerie and her husband have been married 29 years, and have spent those years in full time ministry with Youth For Christ and now Moriah Ministies (an outreach to GVSU student athletes in Allendale, MI). Valerie is the founder and conference coordinator for Mid-Winter Conference for Home Educators as well as Community Coffee: Special Edition, a ministry to home educating mom with special needs children.
