Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival featuring Shinedown at Rock the Rapids

Rock The Rapids, presented by Miller Brewing, today announced that due to unforeseen circumstances, Papa Roach is not able to perform at the Tuesday, August 21 Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival-Rock The Rapids show in Grand Rapids, MI. UPROAR band P.O.D. will replace Papa Roach in the lineup at this show.
The remainder of the show includes Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, and Adelitas Way

Tickets, which are available at the Rock the Rapids box office at Peppino's in downtown Grand Rapids or at rocktherapids.org, include various single-day, two-day and a weeklong pass for only $109.
Shinedown, the multiplatinum rock band, released their fourth album on Atlantic Records in early 2011. Amaryllis entered the Billboard 200 chart at #4, and became the bands highest charting album. The first single, "Bully", reached the top of the rock charts making it the 7th consecutive chart topping single. The first six came from their history-breaking album, The Sound, in 2008. Shinedown's current single, "Unity" is top 15 and rising.
With over 15 million albums sold, alternative hard rockers, Godsmack continue to make waves in the rock world. Godsmack has acquired 18 hit singles, 4 platinum records, 1 gold EP and four Grammy nominations. The bands last album, Oracle, debuted at #1 proving that their 13-year career has no signs of slowing down. On May 15, Godsmack released the album Live & Inspired that consists solely of live performances of tracks from across their entire career.
Fellow rock heavyweights Staind, and Papa Roach as well as Adelitas Way round out the line up. Staind has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and has had 10 top ten singles with four hitting number one. Staind's current self-titled album produced the bands fastest rising #1 single, "Not Again". Papa Roach, known for their explosive live show, have critics naming them the "best live band". The first single "Kick in the Teeth" from the album, For Annihilation…On the Record and On the Road, remained in the Top 10 at the Active Rock format for 4 straight weeks. Road warriors, Adelitas Way has had two top five singles and a #1 hit with "Sick", the first single off their sophomore album, Home Schooled Valedictorian.
