Short for "Of a Revolution," the rock band from Maryland released their first album while still in high school and continued to release albums while in college. Without any formal marketing, news of their songs from such as "That Was A Crazy Game of Poker," "City on Down," and "Night Shift" spread by word of mouth and their third album debuted at #11 on Billboard.

By 2008, O.A.R. had released six studio albums and three live CDs. To date, the band has sold more than 1.7 million albums, 1.5 million concert tickets and had their song "Shattered" spent 15 weeks on VH1'st "Top 20 Countdown." O.A.R. is currently finishing up the recording of their seventh studio album.
