Run 4 a Cause…Our Kids! is a 5K run/walk and a 1.5 mile family fun run/walk that winds through historic township of Ada. Over $33,000 has been raised in its first two years to help fund vital programs and services at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. Both the 5K run/walk and 1.5 mile family fun run/walk will begin at Ada Leonard Field located at 7490 Thornapple River Drive on Saturday, June 16. The 5K will begin at 8:30 a.m. The 1.5 mile family fun run/walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. There will be fun events for children and families following the race, including a DJ, face painting, finger nail painting, ice cream provided by TCBY© and a clown.
