Details: Hey ladies! Do you have an inner pinup girl crying to get out? Here's her chance! For the second time the 28th Street Metro Cruise will host a Pinup Girl Contest as part of the Sock Hop event, Friday, August 24. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three places, with the winner being named Miss Metro Cruise 2012 for the remainder of the evening. Need more info? Click here to go to the registration form. Here's the skinny:

- You must be 18 to participate in the contest

- This is a classic, retro, pin up contest.....not a bikini contest, so modern swimwear is not allowed. Think Marilyn Monroe or Betty Grable (or Google Classic Pinup Girl). Retro/Vintage attire is encouraged. Remember, this is a family-friendly event!

- You may also print a registration form and bring it to the event. Arrive no later than 5 pm, August 24, 2012.

- Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three contestants and a sash will be presented to Miss Metro Cruise 2012.

- Votes will be based on crowd favorite during the Sock Hop. Show your personality and your style!
