On the last Tuesday of each month, 5 presenters with 5 ideas have 5 minutes each to present 5 slides to 5 judges for the chance to win up to $5,000 in grant money-no strings attached. That's a lot of 5's, but we just call it 5×5.

There is no restriction on the type of idea you can submit, but it's important to remember this is about you moving an idea forward. You vote on the ideas that are presented at the event, and move them forward. You submit an idea, and explain a $5,000 step that will get it further into the world. You meet people who can help you move the idea forward.

Just having an idea is not enough. You are the one pushing it into existence, so be clear about what's needed for that next $5,000 step.

Presenting the ideas is only part of the night. Part two is at the reception to find out the winner. Have a glass of wine, talk about ideas. In fact, that part of the evening is the whole reason we put on the event. Please, join us!
