On June 15, 2011, five members of council in Holland, MI voted against extending basic anti-discrimination protections, to its residents and workers that happen to be LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual or transgender.)
On May 4, 2012, we come together in one of the many Michigan cities that does protect its residents and workers Grand Rapids as "human art," a demonstration of love and support for the LGBT minority in Holland, MI.
Hundreds, if not thousands, will gather at Rosa Parks Circle, in Downtown Grand Rapids, starting at 11:30am. Volunteers will help coordinate all participants into the shape of a heart and equal sign.
A helicopter will fly overhead at Noon sharp with a professional photographer on board. We will capture this unprecedented declaration of love and support and broadcast by all available media, as a demonstration of love.
To Holland, with love Until Love Is Equal.
