We desire to put on a quality race that promotes the Alger Heights neighborhood, its businesses and the health of its people. Our inaugural race began in 2009 with 525 runners, and has been growing steadily into a fun, family-friendly community event the whole neighborhood welcomes. We strive toward something for everyone at the Alger Heights Halloween 5k by offering a certified, but fun, race that encourages creativity through costume choice. We aim to put on a truly 'neighborly' event. Come out for a fun, family race on a fast, USTAF certified course, timed professionally by Class Race Management. We have a Kids' Fun Run and costume contest, great give-always and prizes. It's a fun way to celebrate the festive holiday!
