Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, Inc. is proud to announce its newest retail option to the community - blue, a Goodwill boutique. The boutique will open this spring and will be located in MoDiv at 40 Monroe Center in downtown Grand Rapids.
"The blue boutique will offer new and upcycled merchandise in a hip eclectic setting," says Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Jill Wallace. "Shoppers will enjoy a different Goodwill retail experience when finding unique items at the locations at MoDiv."
The boutique will feature a new design, features, and merchandise. New and gently used designer apparel, accessories, and home decor will be offered at the blue boutique. Revenues from the boutique will help fund job training, placement, and retention programs for individuals with barriers to employment in the Greater Grand Rapids area.
"If you're shopping for the hottest trends, a little black dress, or a designer bag, you'll want to stop by the blue boutique," says Wallace. "Our customers are savvy and know that they can find the best treasures at Goodwill."
The boutique will bring the total number of Goodwill retail locations to 16 in an eight-county area for Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids. Additionally, shoppers can find Goodwill collectables and designer items via online shopping at shopgoodwill.com.
"We also encourage our shoppers and the community to donate their gently-used items to any of our Goodwill retail locations and attended donation centers," says Wallace. "Now more than ever, Goodwill is in need of donations to support its retail locations. Customers can feel good about helping others in the community while they are promoting upcycling efforts."
