The Grand Raggidy Roller Girls welcome the Ohio Roller Girls for a doubleheader on Saturday April 28th at Rivertown Sports. The Ohio Roller Girls, hailing from Columbus, OH, last visited Grand Rapids in 2009. Since then, GRRG traveled to Ohio and lost a hard fought game in 2010.  Both teams are pushing hard, rising up in the ranks and showing that they have what it takes to make it to regionals and beyond. The outcome of this game will play a pivotal role in deciding where Grand Raggidy stands in the rankings. OHRG is now currently ranked in the top ten in the North Central Region; a place where GRRG wants to be!! The first bout of the evening will pit the G-Rap Attack up against The Gang Green. The All Stars will be taking the track to face off against the Ohio Roller Girls Charter Team in the second bout.

Not only will this be a night to cheer your loudest for the home teams, it will also be a time of celebration. April marks the seven year anniversary of The Grand Raggidy Roller Girls league!  For seven years, GRRG has been working hard to maintain a reputation of being a fierce, competitive and fun-loving league within the roller derby world.
