4^TH ANNUAL BANDS ON THE GRAND FESTIVAL

Sponsored by the Forest Hills Adult Community Band

We warmly invite you to join us for our 4^th annual Bands on the Grand Festival. Bring your family and friends to enjoy the Concert Band Music performed by Bands from several Communities around the State of Michigan:

DATE: March 3, 2012

TIME: 9:00am - 5:30PM

VENUE: Forest Hills Eastern High School

2200 Pettis Avenue NE,

Ada, MI 49301

(Parking available using Knapp St. Entrance)

COST: FREE

Each Band will perform a :45 minute concert (open to the public) before a professional Music Adjudicator (Judge). Following each performance, each Band will receive a private Clinic with a collegiate level professional Music Director (The clinic portion is private, not for public attendance, in one of the music rooms--not on stage).

*Handicap Accessible parking and seating are available.

9:00am Coopersville Community Concert Band - Luanne DeVries, Director

10:00am Cereal City Concert Band (Battle Creek) - Dr. Sam Mcllhagga, Director

11:00am Blue Lake International Alumni Band -- Donald Flickinger, Director

LUNCH BREAK

12:30pm Forest Hills Winds - Greg Christensen, John DeStefano, Co-Directors

1:30pm West Michigan Concert Winds (Muskegon)-  Gail Brechting, Director

2:30pm Saginaw Area Concert Band - David M. Valasek, Director

3:30pm Forest Hills Adult Community Band, Greg Christensen, Director

Attend one Band Performance, or more or stay for the whole day to hear all of these wonderful bands perform in this beautiful venue! This event is a well-established annual event sponsored by the Forest Hills Adult Community Band. It is well coordinated with a smooth concert schedule, concessions, event guides and Concert programs. The music will be certain to please all. This event is family friendly and will be a great outing for you! We look forward to seeing you there!
