On October 21-23, 2011 there will be a justice conference at Thornapple Covenant Church, 6595 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI.

The weekend will be full of opportunities to learn about and respond to the injustices that exist in the world (slave trade, human trafficking, etc. in the US and abroad). We will learn from people who have battled these injustices.  We will pray, hear passionate and informed speakers, listen to a short film, share a meal with refugees, and much more.

Cost: This event is free to high school and college students and $10 for adults or $15 with dinner.

Time: Friday from 7 to 9pm; Saturday 4 to 8:30pm and Sunday 9 to 11:30am.  Come for all or part of it.  All students and adults are welcome! Register online at www.thornapple.org/justice/register or at the door.

Book table and fair trade coffee available throughout the weekend. Women at Risk International boutique available on Saturday only (selling items made by and supporting women saved from slavery and trafficking).
