First Laugh: Community Kickoff Party & Rubber Chicken Toss - LaughFest

Join us to kick off LaughFest at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, with an attempt at breaking the Guinness World Records number of participants tossing rubber chickens. Join us to entice 500 individuals to participate in breaking the previous record of 265 rubber-chicken tossers set in April, 2010 outside of Boston, Mass. Special guests during the opening celebration will include: Michael Radner, brother of the late Gilda Radner, Tim Cusack, David Dyer and other comedians and celebrities.
From Rosa Parks Circle, we’ll scatter to 10 designated restaurants where you can purchase food and drinks where you will be visited by traveling comedy troupes. LaughScat will include special drawings and discounts at all participating restaurants: 25 Kitchen + Bar, Bar Divani, The B.O.B., J. Gardella’s Tavern, Louis Benton, McFadden’s Restaurant & Saloon, Mojo’s Dueling Piano Bar & Restaurant, Peppino’s Grille and Pizzeria Sports Lounge and Rockwells/Republic.
