Grand Rapids, MI - The community is invited to join in the Grand Opening celebration of Thai Cuisine which will be officiated by Mayor Heartwell and the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce. Having perfected Thai recipes for his customers in Kalamazoo, owner Billy Kue is ready to share them with the Grand Rapids area. Event participants are invited to a buffet to sample Thai Cuisine's offerings.
Mr. Kue, a new Chamber member, has sought to open in downtown Grand Rapids for several years, waiting for the right location. He found it in the Arena District of the Heartside Neighborhood. "Grand Rapids is a special city... I want to bring something special to Grand Rapids."
In just four months, the 4,275 sq. ft. space at 48 West Fulton has been renovated into a spacious, high-quality dining atmosphere, with design elements straight from Thailand. Mr. Kue's tagline "beyond authentic" encompasses his passion to have the freshest prepared Thai dishes that surpass "authentic." Order Thai Cuisine's signature dish Banana Leaf Sea Bass with lemon leaves and ginger, or try the Ocean Twister with tangy sauce over salmon, shrimp, and scallops.
Thai Cuisine will soon be receiving its liquor license.
