It's back! The HOT New Year's Eve Party and the ball drop return to Rosa Parks Circle to celebrate 2010. An estimated 20,000 people attended the inaugural year, and more are expected to attend this year. It's a free event and family-friendly.

6:45 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.: Uncle Kracker
8:15 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.: Boys Like Girls
9:45 p.m. - 11:55 p.m.: Various entertainment & music provided by DJ Curtis Avison
11:55 p.m. - Countdown to midnight with the ball drop
12:05 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. - DJ continues

There will be warming tents and a limited number of vendors selling hot non-alcoholic drinks. Families can take advantage of a heated interactive space at the Grand Rapids Art Museum specifically for families with children 10 and under. Free parking will be available at lots outside the city with free shuttles transporting people downtown.
