The Michigan Wing - Civil Air Patrol will be conducting an open house at Sparta Airport, 156 E. Division, Sparta Michigan. The event is open to the public.

The Civil Air Patrol will be showcasing the organization's three primary missions: Cadet Programs, Aerospace Education and emergency services. During the open house there will be aerospace education presentations, model rocketry and emergency services demonstrations. Local emergency service providers will also be on hand. Qualified cadets will be provided with glider and airplane orientation flights. CAP aircraft from Flint, Battle Creek and Grand Rapids will be on display along with the Civil Air Patrol glider.
